The time is the big ennemy of the volunteer  . Indeed, i dont know what is wrong with but its like there was one week in one day.....

So, the most difficult task is to enjoy as much as you can all the things you are living....

Since the begining i wanted to travel a lot, in the whole Sweden, and in the Scandinavian countries.

And finally will do it peperino, the next 3 weeks will be: North of Sweden, Salen and a trip to the ski with Nova and finally Helsinki at the end of march.

Yiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaaaaa. It sounds so good.

After a while spent here in Nova, and with a better understanding of the place, i finally started to take place my project. It s less than what i was expecting at the begining, but it is better than nothing!!

After a meeting with a monokrom worker, we went with 6 youngsters of Nova (only youngsters really interesting in music and playing in a band), in the aim to learn using the mix table.

I wanted at the begining to do it on several months, with some hours each week, in the aim to do something deeper. Unfortunately, people of Monokrom are very busy in their job and they dont have so much time to give for this kind of project. So finally, Pär, a worker of Monokrom, welcomed us nicely during 2 hours and:introduced the place to the youngsters and explained what is possible to do there, show the place to the youngsters through a little visit (music rooms, studio.....), and explained the basics of the way to do a good sound for a concert.

Youngsters are not very demonstrative (!!), but i think that there was quite happy to have the opportunity to do it.( Mostly that they do it for free, a rare thing  when you do this kind of thing...).

The aim was for me to introduce them this knowledge because one day they will be lead, as musicians, to play in music concert and will have to make their own sound. Then, one of the youngster is really interesting about working in this field later, so it was a good opportunity for him starting to learn, and mostly meet a "professionnal" to ask questions about the cursus you have to follow or something else......

My task had been mostly to be the link between Monokrom and Nova: meet Pär, find a date together, then meet the youngsters and introduce the event and find the date.....

My project in Sweden takes place in what is call here en fritidsgård.... It is situated in the north of kalmar.

It s a place where youngsters can come and play tennis table, pull, watch TV, game, or simply just be together. And it s very very nice. (more than the same kind of place that you can find in my country, and objectivly, i noticed that there is more money for youngsters in Sweden than in France)(but I am a youngster??!!!) (of course).

As a volunteer, my task is to help and to be here with the working team. It was not easy to integrate myself at the beginning, because Nova is a big place with a lot a lot of youngsters, with a lot of energy (this is very good). So you have to integrate, with a different langage.This thing is sometimes bad because it can be hard to communicate. but it is good too because the fact to be from another country is a way to communicate with the youngsters, there are interesting in discover your culture...So i am with the working team, play with youngsters or just talk with them when they want....

 More especially i take care of the music room. Quickly, users of this music room can be: youngsters very independant with a good knowledge in music and able to take it easy alone, others with a good knowledge but less (what i am saying is stud´pid!!), or only youngsters interesting in discover a music instrument....So around this field, my tasks are: be here if the youngsters have any questions, help them in finding music parts, play with them, try to make them play together, and then try to conserv my ears life!

After several months since the beginning of my European volontary service and ingenting special to do today (try to forget the red wine headashes), I kick my ass and i will do slowly, but surely, my european volontary service blog. (we dont stop progress...)
